My front tire seems to be losing air - Last night it was down to about 15 psi after sitting for 5 or 6 days. I thought at first that it was the cold weather or something, but my rear tire is just fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to detect the origination of a slow leak?

Thanks,

The easiest is just get the wheel to proper PSI reading. Take a water hose with the water about halfway turned on and let it run over a portions of the tire, rolling the bike forward a little at time, watching for bubbles.

If you can't find it that way, take the wheel off the bike, partially submerge it 6" or so in some water (like a big tub or something) and slowly spin it looking for bubbles to come up.

Either way, you'll have to do it slowly since it takes so long to leak out, it must be a fairly small puncture. Oh yeah, it's most likely IN the tread.

Use a sponge and soapy water, then squeeze it around the tire. The soap will make bubbles where the leak is.
