Tail Paint Complete what do you think?

So I got the tail chop finished and the seat struts painted thanks to a few members on here for color matching.

What do you guys think?

nice job there, get some hole plugs from autozone or o'rielly's to plug the other holes for the passenger foot peg mounts, same for the stock mirror mounts if you haven't done so already

Mirror mounts are already done lol never thought about the peg holes though....

Thanks for the paint match trstrmech.... its not perfect bit close enough.

Black is coming next fall..... I want to get all new black plastics and have it vinyled with orange racing stripes and the wheels powder coated orange and the frame swing arm and forks powdercoated black but I want to ride right now. I also want to redo my reverse exhaust before season really starts and that's it till fall. Then when I tear down for the wepping gaskets its getting a new crank and 1050 big bore kit possibly we'll have to see.... I don't think I'm going to tire out of this bike to quickly.

I did this on both! Because I'm anal, I got a 3/8-16 socket head bolt and threaded it from the inside (as opposed to the bolt from the bottom & nut inside) so that no bolt heads would be exposed. :p

Looks great!. I would love to see more color matched seat rails. Still trying to figure out why they didn't color match them at the factory.

I dig it every tail section should match either the plastic or tank in my opinion. Nice work[up] clean tail chop by the way.

Damn-it! I should have done that! LOL But I like to be able to reverse most mods as is possible... Mine is black with the black plugs so it's barely noticeable at all...

Oh it isn't staying yellow lol only for a short time..... I really wanted orange but I can get new plastics for cheaper then getting it professionally painted

Yeah the tail chop took a lot of work but end result was much cleaner and smoother..... it looks badass

I was getting ready to ride to work tomorrow and nicked it with the latch on the seat...... Idk if it didn't cure right cause its cold out or what I left it sit inside for about a day and half after I painted it. Plus I had it in the sun light and it is definitely a different shade yellow then the factory yellow..... oh well

I'm gonna get a price to have it powder coated satin black. So it matches the frame when I do it.

I get picked on cause I'm a huge flyers fan and I want my bike black and orange but no its yellow and black like the stupid penguin's.....
