PayPal doesn't cost the buyer anything. The seller pays those fees. Not a big deal. I've bought & sold tens of thousands of dollars through PayPal. Only had 1 dispute and was able to get my money back because of a deadbeat seller. Unless you're using PayPal wrong, you should never have any issues.

There's simply no reason not to use PayPal. It's free to sign up, you dont have to go to a bank to cash a check, It's insurance for both parties involved and there's a cost to have insurance. It's even more important in environments like this where there are people coming and going with no real validation of the people selling, the parts, or whatever is being bought and sold.

There are several documented and publicized situations here recently where a transaction wasn't completed for what ever the circumstances were. As long as they were using PayPal, they'll always have recourse if needed.
