i was doing some searching and found some guys are using ceramics to pack their cans and supposedly its lasting for 10,000 miles plus. the problem is getting the stuff one recommended super wool 607 you get through alot of pottery supply houses. i'm a sheetmetal worker and found some koawool witch is another type of ceramic packing. i will try in the summer when can needs to be repacked. i was just wondering on any ones thoughts or if they have tried this in their cans.

Another recommendation might be stainless steelwool.

Ebay is usually the cheapest. Do a search on google for "stainless steel wool" it will turn up a few online suppliers.
