clutch adjustment

my buell blast wont move freely in 1st when pulling the clutch. it moves fine in neutral and a little better in 2nd then a little better in 3rd an d so on. I final got the clutch plate off. ( figuring out how to take the foot peg bracket off then striped screws!) but now I have it off. I tried adjusting it and still nothing. maybe I adjusted it wrong witch way shouldi turn it for more freeplay? and yes I did pull the clutch in and still nothing.

Dude, calm down on the multiple threads.

Get an FSM (Factory Service Manual), adjust the clutch and cable per their spec, then move on. If the engine isn't starting, you need to fix THAT first.
