So I stop to get gas.... And I notice my belt is tracking off.
I look closer and the axle is close to the back of the bearing and the little plastic piece is loose...
What the hell is going on lol!
I tried to upload a pic, but I can't from my iphone?

Sure sounds like a rear wheel bearing gave out.

Is this common?
I was just doing like 90.... Or more before I got off the exit!

Am I lucky?

Mine gave out at 13,000, about a week after I bought my X1. I am not sure how common it is though.

All Balls Racing for new bearings, they have kits for front and rear, both altogether about 40 bucks

Happened to me too around 6000Kms. They were apperently re-called some time ago. For a while the replacements were orange, but then just black. Only service records would tell me, some one else may be able to tell by looking. Just buy a brand name ball set from a supply store. The spacer can be cut from tubing by a mechanic. Cheaper and Better??? [confused] than HD...I don't know .
Change them both now I've heard about front and rear bearings going the same way. You were probably on the inside race and the spacer.
No problems since repair. There's pics and all the model numbers you need in this thread:
