just wrapped my headers on my xb12 last week after putting the chin fairing back on i noticed the header pipe slightly touching the chin fairing will this melt it? from the ungodly heat these put out?

No you shouldn't have a problem because its wrapped already and the pipe won't be that hot to melt the chin fairing. Without the wrap the chin fairing gets more heat from the pipe and is only about a centimeter farther away but with the wrap its closer yes but way less heat therefore you should be good

Did the same thing about 3 months ago. Same issue with them touching. No issue with melting.

I have been using the wrap for the past year, no melting, cooler pipe, better performance in cold weather, better looks!![up]
