Up for your consideration are good working parts removed from my '05 XB12R when I installed upgrades. They are headed for listing on eBay but I list them here first to give my friends on BuellXB first dibbs here. What doesn't sell here quickly will go on eBay so if you are interested please act now. Maybe you need the part or maybe you want to have spares. All prices are OBO, not including shipping. PM me your zip code for a shipping cost. I prefer PayPal.

What did you upgrade the clutch cable with?

Barnett High-Efficiency Stainless Steel Clutch Cable. "World's Finest Cables" (their description):

•Smooth-working, durable, made with the finest components available and virtually indestructible; these can only describe Barnett cables
•Classic stainless steel braid cables with clear coating offer a custom look without the fear of damaging areas on your bike that cables come in contact with. Clear-Coat protective finish and polished hardware and elbows (where applicable). The Clear-coat finish helps to protect painted surfaces and is guaranteed not to discolor from sun exposure. All cable assemblies, fittings, and hardware are made in-house, by us, right here in the USA. All clutch cables also come standard with our High Efficiency inner wire for longer life, smoother cable action, and reduced lever effort.

Not an item stocked by Barnett for our XB's - they are made to order when ordered directly from Barnett. But they had it shipped like two days after I placed my order. I didn't need to replace my OEM cable - there is nothing wrong with it - I simply wanted a high quality cable as an upgrade to match my stainless steel front brake line and to potenially head off a clutch cable failure. I upgraded to the Clutch Cable Bracket, ordered from ASB, while I was at it. Full write up thread with photos forthcoming, including ordering instructions. I am really happy with the upgrade cable. To me it is well worth the nominal extra cost over the OEM cable.
