New owner

Hi all, I'm a new member and happy owner of an 04 XB12R!

This forum is a great resource and really helped seal the deal when I was deciding whether or not to get a Buell. I've had the bike for about 2 weeks now and I love it! Man does she shine in the twisties. The guy who I bought her from (2nd owner) bought the bike, rode it twice and got scared so he put her up for sale. He thought it was stock but its got the race kit, aftermarket signals, and a breather re-route consisting of a tube that drips a tiny bit of oil onto the swingarm.

I plan on getting a right side scoop and fixing the breather re-route. I've got a catch can i made myself and soon I'll have a filter and required fittings. I downloaded the 05 Firebolt service manual. Are there any significant differences between the 04 and 05?

Things to consider 03 Buell XBs slightly different, 04-07 close enough to same things, really changed in 08+.

I am Crash, the local jerk, know-nothing smart ass, with too many opinions. If you need help, ill probably give you the wrong answer, but there are a ton of guys with a bunch knowledge.
