Make a right side air scoop?

Anybody ever make their own right side air scoop? I know there are some out there for sale and it would probably be a lot easier to just buy one, but I like projects and I was thinking it might be fun to make my own. I think it would be easy to make one out of glass. I just need the right shape to mold one off of.

Any thoughts or ideas on making one? Anybody done it and have a picture?
