The deal is done... My son now has a really nice Firebolt... We put it in his pickup truck and drove it home... He can't believe it!!! I'm sure he will be posting here soon... He is currently enrolled at YTI Motorcycle technology school....

It was a sweet, sweet deal..... It did not have 1500 miles it only had 900+ miles. The tires still had the little hairs on them. Believe me when I tell you that bike was as cherry as they come. Right now my 19 yr old son is wearing a huge grin that should last for quite some time. I have spoiled him a little but he has shown tremendous responsibility and maturity for a 19 year old. I couldn't have ordered a better son from a catalog..... I told him over the weekend that when school is over in October that he should try to hook up with some kind of racing team and travel around and have some adventure for a while. I told him not to worry about money, just work hard and enjoy being young and free, his Mom & I will take care of the big expences. Go try to make a name for yourself.
(Just an FYI....while at school he puts in 20+ hours a week in his job, that he got all on his own, at a motorcycle shop.....)

Congrats man. I get the impression that there is a very proud dad out there. I pat you on the back for raising a good one.[up][up]

He is not perfect. It's just that he does not give up. After a setback (and there have been plenty) he learns from his mistakes, shakes it off best he can and tries even harder to succeed. He is all ways willing to put in the extra time, giving up personal time, to complete the task at 110% with no complaining.

Nice! My single mom raised me and taught me how to ride motocross nad she just helped me purchase my Buell for commuting to college. Being a good kid pays off ;)
