I have a 2002 Roadstar Warrior I'm looking into trading for an XB. It's a 1700cc powerhouse with R1 derived suspension and brakes. It is the best handling cruiser you'll find PERIOD. The bike really is light on it's feet and has a LOT more available lean than your typical cruiser. The engine is probably the best big inch twin I've ever ridden. It is LOADS more powerful than a 103 Harley (I road one just last season and there is NO comparison). It's a great bike and super clean. It has about 35,000mi on it, tires are in good shape, needs nothing what so ever. It's a great bike.
Why am I getting rid of it then? I've tried cruisers twice now and have decided their just not for me. I like my feet under me and a forward lean. I sold my XB12R a couple years back and I've regretted it since. I'm ready for another XB. I don't care if it's a 12 or 9; I like both. PM me if you have a trade offer or I'll sell outright for $4500 until spring. These bikes go for between $5-7000 around here so keep that in mind when making an offer. Thanks. [up]

Your right. Serious buyers are hard to find this time of year. Tax returns are coming up that's when I'm going to repost my Connie on CL.

Sorry, not in the market myself, though a friend of mine used to have one and I can vouch that the Warrior is pretty quick for a 700 lb cruiser. It'll give an XB9 a run in the 1/4 mile for sure! :D

Yeah, I figured I'd take it down in Jan and then re-post it on CL in the Feb/Mar timeframe.

It's a beast for sure. My brother had one with the full 110" kit, cams, the works, and it was an absolute ANIMAL. Twisting the grip would literally almost throw you off the seat (he actually had to cut the seat foam and scoop it a bit more because of this!)
BTW, it's about 625-650lbs ready to ride, lets not make it heavier than it needs to be. haa haa :D
