WTB: EBR racing ECM for 03 XB9

As the title says, does anyone have a EBR/Race ECM for the 03-04 XB9 for sale?

What exhaust do you have.

It is the factory exhaust that was cut open and modified and then welded back up, he said something like using some kind of tube as baffles in it and whatnot, it has a nice deep sound to it (he's been building Buells since the 90s)

buellxb9rs, are you thinking I might have a problem running the race ECM? Was going to use it and do a TPS reset when I install it and then I have the factory air filter, opened up exhaust box (no snorkle), and modified factory exhaust.

I really think you need to datalog to tune it add the race maps won't be accurate for your bike. You can download the race maps and load them to your bike from buellmods.com. Do you have the cable to hook up the bike?

I do have the ECM Spy cable, I just have ZERO experience when doing computer tuning/adjusting on bikes and another user in another thread said that it is very difficult to get it set up right.

So if I downloaded the race maps and loaded them onto my factory ecm with the cable, what else would I need to do to get it tuned right other than a TPS reset? I figured the race ECM would be programmed pretty close and would work well and I am just a little worried I might get to fiddling with something doing tuning myself and make the bike run worse.

Also, what is datalogging (shows my ECM ignorance lol)

Download the maps, open ecmspy make sure its in professuonal mode. Hook up to the bike, fetch maps, the open the eeprom you downloaded, burn only the maps I repewt burn only the maps. Do a tps reset and you have the race maps and timing. I will find the tuning guide for you to datalog.

let me know how it goes for you, I am also interested in getting an ebr race ecm for my 05 xb12, but I have no idea how to use ecm spy or any of that.
