Ive got an 04 12s lightning with race ecm, high flow filter and d&D muffler. I have been reading all the posts about bar selection but keep getting lost. I'm looking for the same as most guys. A lower, very aggressive stance. Something very mean. But everytime I think a bar somebody has reccomended sounds good somebody mentions how the clamps dont fit or the throttle tube wont fit. What bar Can I get to get the look I want while minimizing changes in my stock controls?

Alot of guys who want the more aggressive feel get crossroad bars. I opted for a less aggressive riding stance and went with the bars from rizoma. They are more aggressive than stock but not quite the leaned over look like the crossroad bars. Alot cheaper too.

Why not run XBR clip-ons? Like this...

Is there a big difference in the clip ons? Handling wise? I like the look. What kind of price? How difficult is the install?

The crossroads look great. But I think I like the clubmans I keep seeing better. Especially in the black. I keep seeing them in 7/8 inch on ebay. This is the look I would like. How should I go about getting it?

I have a Protaper "schoolboy lo" , and I love it. Much more aggressive riding position, but not quite like a sport bike. Just make sure when you order, you get a 7/8 bar. Also, there is a small set point inside your ignition housing and one inside the light switch housing that you will have to drill a small hole for.http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/2832_20090212125403_L.jpg

I always wondered if the 1125 clubmans would fit. It would be an easy and inexpensive solution. It's worth checking out.

1125 clubmans are 1 &1/8" bars i believe.. same as fat bars or pro tapers. i just did a 7/8" superbike low bend and i like it. they'll work til i do some driven carbon fiber dirty bars
