View Full Version : Custom Billet XB rear pulley...

Custom billet XB rear pulley, these are billet aluminum and weight 1/4 of a pound less than the original cast pulley and stronger. It was a 2 year design process to have these pulleys designed and made, they were designed to align perfectly with the spokes of the wheel so that they pretty much disappear when you are looking at the bike from the side. Black anodizied finish. This one has only 500 miles on it (you can tell because the black anodizing on the teeth doesn't even show a single spot of wear yet). This pulley was EXPENSIVE and is top notch and are impossible to find.

I just bought this as I was going to do a swap onto my 03 XB for the 04+ pulleys/belts and all, but after thinking about it, it's way too nice to go on my 10 year old XB9 that I paid $1900 for (this pulley cost a large fraction of what I paid for the whole bike) and plus I have a practically brand new upgraded ASB belt and idler on my bike and it would cost me another $400 to get the 04+ belt, idler, front pulley, and belt guards to do the swap on my 03 and I just don't think it's worth putting $1000 into a pulley swap I don't need on a bike I paid $1900 for lol.

Make me an offer, open to trades.

Thanks,
Spencer

The last 3 are not my pulley, they are 3 of the same pulley's owned by different XB owner's on their bikes just to give you an idea of what it looks like mounted up.

Pffft, I'd put it on there anyway.

Haha if I already had an 04+ belt, front pulley, idler, and chain guard I would absolutely throw it on there. But I'm a college student, and have already spent way too much money on Buell's than I should and am trying to be responsible and let this one go.

Although I'm really tempted to hang on to it for whenever I have the money to pick up a newer/nicer XB since it's pretty much impossible to find one of these and it really makes a killer difference in the look of the back of the bike. I'm the kind that always wants all my bikes to be completely custom and not look like anyone elses and this is one of those things that very few other Buellers out there have but figured I'd put it out here since it will probably be a year or two until I get a nicer XB and my student loans will just be adding up in the mean time

Man that's nice but that's a lot of dough for a pulley lol.

So you're looking to get $600 for this pulley - correctomundo?

NOTcorrectomundo, that's what the cost new was. I'm not looking to get that much for it.

I'm open to offers on it, cash or trade (up or down).

It's time for me to get a new helmet and riding boots as mine have seen better days, so I'd be interested in them as far as trades (no cheap or old/beat up gear). Helmet size medium, boot size 10.5. I buy and trade tons of stuff from guns to motorcycle stuff to watches, etc. So if you've got something you might want to trade then send me a message, worst I can do is say no thanks.

SEXT9, look at his "Firebolt Evolution" thread, he's got the firebolt with a CR headlight and GPS dash

Thanks for the compliment on the bike. I've actually transferred that look over to another bike and sold the Firebolt. If you're interested here's the LINK (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Users-Bikes/First-of-the-Last) to the newer bike.

If I still ran the belt I would have a pulley like this but I have swapped to chain.

Your very welcome bud, looks killer. Really opens up the back end of the bike and lets you see what the rear wheel actually looks like instead of it being hidden by the pulley

I wish someone would produce these again, or send me the schematic so I can make one. :D
