Jardien is making a Pro Tune 3 for the 08 Buell xb12r. I have the slip on exhaust. Do you guys think this will fix my spitting and sputtering? It only does it until i reach 3500 rpm's and on deceleration.

Do the breather re-rout first as thats most likely your problem, do a search on it there is a nice writeup somewhere. But yea if you have a slip on and a highflow filter you need more fuel in your fuel map or you will burn it up. ECMspy is the best and cheapest bet.

Breather Reroute won't fix it entirely but it can help. The new exhaust won't help the popping, it'll probably make it a little worse depending on how much more it allows the gases to flow.

If you've got a highflow filter and a slip-on, you're '08 ECM probably can't compensate fully. Like Gator said, to solve the popping you'll probably need custom mapping for your ECM.

This is what there web site says about the pro tune 3, is this going to remap my ecm?

•Load Based Technology with one number interface
•Fuel control without altering the stock fuel map
•Integrated Buttons provide easy adjustment and on the fly tuning of fuel delivery
•LED lights indicate either real time injector duty cycle or air fuel ratio
•Will not interfere with motorcycle stock sensors and inputs
•Both Race Applications as well as CARB legal versions available

Stevenc150.... Did you install the Jardien pro turner on after you had the pipe of did you do it all at the same time? And did you jus plug it up to your bike, or did you have to do something to it after it was installed?

Sorry, I don't have the tuner, I just posted the link to a thread where it is currently being discussed. ;) I'd suggest contacting Chris Neely. The thread had his contact info in it. (Check out Racerxusa (Chris), the "Wednesday, February 25, 2009 - 02:51 am" post in that thread.
