K&N filer cleaning

Not sure if this has already been covered but, what is an economical way to clean a K&N filer. Yes I am cheap but would also like an environmently friendly method.

Knock the dirt chunks off into your compost pile.

Wash with "environmentally friendly" dish soap and lots of re-claimed water.

LET DRY in the sun next to your Birkenstocks

Just barely mist with the "environmentally friendly" K&N oil, the less the better. Seriously, use it like cologne. Mist the air and waft the filter through it….

And cut yer hair ya hippie!!!!:D

No hair left to cut, the bourbon empties block out the compost pile, boots are polished and piss/vinegar is all I have left to flush with. But thanks for keeping it real.
