I know this is going to sound crazy because they're not really available anymore and getting harder to find but if someone by chance is selling one or has any good leads on one, I'm in the market for one for my XB9SX.

I actually have one that I may not use any longer but I can't bring myself to part with it. I replaced it with the Streetfighter Seat this season...So I have 3 seats...Don't judge me! LOL :p

Quick question, what do you like about the different seats. Why the street fighter seat over the select seat? I just want to get a seat for longer distances until I can afford to get a Uly.

I haven't had the Streetfighter long enough to really comment, but for me it was mostly cosmetic. The Select has the "V" in the back that looks "different." The Select is a gel seat where the Streetfighter is not so I would suspect that the Select wins in overall comfort although I can tell you it doesn't make it a touring bike by any stretch. I believe the Streetfighter is slightly wider in the saddle. It seemed nice in the few miles that I've tried it it. Seems softer than the stock S seat...

In either case, they're hard to come by...I'm glad to have one of each. Maybe once I get more miles on the Streetfighter, I'll be able to differentiate more?

I see. I've attempted to pick up on a couple of the select seats I've seen come up on here but they always hit when I have no cash. I put aside some just for this now and can't even find one on eBay [sad]

I have a select seat in mint condition. I parted with the Buell a while ago and now have a BMW S1000rr.

I just bought a seat a couple days ago that I have plans to recover and add foam. Man. What were you looking to get for it though. Maybe I'll pick yours up too :D

I call the vee in the select seat the cooter cooler. The ladies usually think it's funny. It is a pretty comfy seat, good luck on your search

the select was incredibly comfortable going to and from sturgis. 11 hours each way in one shot.

Put a skyline on my XB9S from the STD low seat feels like a lounge chair but in fairness can only judge from the STD low seat. And I got it through HD in OZ.
