What refinements we're made after 08 to all the XB

After 08 they put in DDFI 3, a bigger and better crankshaft (1.5 inch crankpin instead of 1.25 inches?? I think), in 2006 or 2007 they started doing helical cut gears instead of straight cut, at some point along the way they swapped the oiling system from the traditional oil pump that the sportster uses that's mounted under the bottom-right side of the motor to the XBRR setup that uses the camshafts to pump the oil, and in either late 2009 or 2010 they started using two O2 sensors instead of just one... one in each header ... That's all I can think off right off the top of my head ... I think at some point they swapped over to a ZTL2 setup as well ... I think ... I'm not as familiar with the +08 crowd of XB's as I am with the -07 ... but that's my 0.02

Not bad on that mileage man ... if you decide to go with the 1125 make sure the one you're looking at isn't affected by the defective charging system they suffered from for a while ... and if it was one of that year model that the proper fix was applied ... personally I like the refinements they put on the +08 XB's myself ... and to me they seem to be a little less of a hassle to work on when you have to work on them ... I've heard the 1125's can be a nightmare with some things (however that is just hearsay, I don't own one) ... I would happily be willing to live with either if given the chance ! ... :)

Only the 2010's came with the dual O2 sensors as well as the triple bearing rear end. Not sure which year but believe there was an upgrade on the rods - I believe 08+

I had the stator and weaping clutch issue on my 1125cr. Got both fixed and have been riding often. Even had it in super heavy stop and go traffic yesterday and it stayed charging and cool. The verdict is still out on the 1125 but man is it fun to ride.

I will say I am dreaming of an 08-10 XB12R to compliment the 1125 in the years to come.
