Prob - AMC Stuck open

Hya,

I was out riding today, moderate heat, and the diags light came on. and stayed on till I restarted the bike.
Looking at the DTC with ECMSPY I found that the 'AMC stuck open ' error was the problem ...

ANy thoughts on how to get rid of this feature, I have an AHP exhaust on, and the cable actuator is un hooked, but the electrical connectoin is still connected ...

Hya again,

Just been reading up and looking at the ECMSpy prog, and it looks like there is a facility to turn off the exhaust valve, or rather uncheck 'Enable exhaust vale' logic tells me that this would do the trick, but am I wrong...

Goose, it's easy to disable it. It should be under the diagnostics tab, on the far right side. Be sure that you have ECMSpy in "professional" mode.
