Hi all!
I have a 03 xb9r that i'm totally in love with, have droven jap's for 6 years and they are great (and boring), But the Buell is a bike with a very big B:-)

My problem is the neutral light, it comes on and of all the time and it irritates the hell out of me, i have replaced the sidestand switch, but it's all the same:-(
Can someone PLEASE help me with this

Yes i got the manual, the fig.7-75 shows a wire in the air filter box??
7§22 shows the indicator switch, you think it's something wrong inside the switch or with the wire harness in the filter box 7-75??

ooh crap...manuals are different :o

oki, follow:

-> electrical
-> neutral indicator switch
...you will see that the switch is near the front sprocket.
i would guess either a malfunctioning switch or a false ground somewhere in the wiring.
65% chance it's the wiring, though.

check the diode 1st, that's the easiest thing to do ;)

Just received a new neutral switch:-)
And after a lot of trouble i finally got out the old one.
I noticed when i had removed the old one that the barrel or what i should call it that will push in the switch when in neutral, is not exactly in the middle of the slot where the neutral switch is located.
So im wondering if this may be the problem.
Is there any way i can adjust this barrel??[confused]
