Hey everybody! We all know the horns on our bikes suck. I live in Florida so everybody is old, can't hear, can't see and their windows are up with the AC on. Or its a tuner car with a beer can muffler and rap coming out of monster speakers(if was Led Zepplin I would not mind). Is there a loud horn that would fit where the factory one sits? If I needed to make some brackets that's fine. I just want it loud but out of site. Everybody have a great Labor Day weekend! Buell on!

you could get an air horn. but the only concealed place i have seen on an xb is in the intake scoop

I did this (http://f650.com/forum/showthread.php?29326-Tired-of-the-Wimpy-Stock-Horn) on my G650x. It was very effective while it lasted but after ~ 1year it succumbed to all the extra vibes of a Dual Sport single.

I'm now running just a hi-tone car horn which should fit where your stocker sits behind the fairing no problem.

In retrospect, the air horn really wasn't much louder than the car horn anyway.

now THAT is funny readyxb.

sewerman: search your neighborhood for either a zuma 125 or vino 125 scooter and have the rider honk the thing for you. their horns are compact, light, top quality yamaha pieces and one of the loudest most annoying ear piercing stockers i've ever heard. a pair in tandem behind the flyscreen might achieve the desired effect you're looking for.

Depends on what sound you are looking for, I just put an old Chevy horn in. I wanted the deeper sound it seems to grab more attention and make people notice when they don't use mirrors. Horns are all the same and use the same voltage so if it doesn't fit make it fit, then splice the wires.
