I have noticed the seat on my 05 firebolt is getting rather warm while running at highway speeds, is this normal? I got the bike as a repo ($5700 with 2700 miles on it) but just started riding it recently. I dont notice the heat unless i am going at least 70mph. I had the local dealer check it out fully do to it being a repo and the only issue was a broken clutch bracket from falling over at the credit union that repo'd it. Any suggestions?

Absolutely normal. Your right thigh should also be pretty warm at normal operating speeds. Just one of the quirks you'll either love or hate about the Buells.

yes its normal there is a fan that draws the air from the engine out right under the seat so you have nothing to worry about

I put a City X seat on my XB1200 and it helped a lot. Also being a old fart it was much more comfortable to ride.:)
