WTT: black 1125CR wheels for amber

I have some 2009 1125CR stock wheels that I would like to trade for the amber/gold colored XB wheels. The wheels are in mint shape and still have the factory red pinstripe on them. If there is any interest I can take some pictures, but the wheels are still on my CR. The tires that are currently mounted need replacing.

I live in Elkhorn, WI (about 40 minutes west of Milwaukee), so it would need to be someone in the area to do the trade.

Hm...very tempting..my amber's are in okay condition - I haven't looked at them too closely lately. Tires are bt023's (I think). Wheels are 05, so not sure about fitment - differences in bearings if I remember correct might be the only issue. Aside from switching the hardware over.

I will talk to a few of the engineers who worked on the XB/1125 platform again, but I believe the wheels should be interchangeable.

A little ways away - probably a bit further than either of us want. - st. robert, mo. ~7hrs.

I confirmed with both the parts manual and engineers, the 2009 1125 wheels and 2002-2009 XB wheels are interchangeable. There was a change in 2010 on the rear wheels bearings (changed to a three bearing design).

St. Robert, MO. is a little too far away.....unless you were planning on making any visits up this way.

I have a local powder coater that I might go to, if I can't find anyone local who wants to trade.

I also might just be painting them in a few months if no one trades.

I'm not sure if I have what you're looking for. They are magnesium colored from a Ulysses. But I am looking to go with black wheels on this project.
