the 2009 uly has no curb idle speed adjustment screw. it is set by the ecm and a pintel which is part of the IAC unit. factory pre-set at approx. 1250rpm on cold start and approx. 1050 rpm when warm.

Try resetting the Throttle Position Sensor. You can find the Instructions here on the Forum. No Special Tools needed. Just Using the Key Switch and Throttle . Post up if you need that. ALL newer Buells 08 plus Have the TPS reset procedure. JIMI

08 Plus TPS Procedure as Follows .Key Switch OFF.
Turn on Start/Kill Switch FIRST
Turn Key to on Position do not start the Engine. Guages will Sweep let Light (Yellow) engine light go off.
Turn on Key Switch, NOW Fully Twist Throttle from Idle to Fully Wide Open then closed slightly firm Three Times ONLY.
Turn off Key and then right on. Let engine light go off.
Press Start Button. If Engine does not Start right up then let off the Start Button. Repress Start Button
While Starting the Engine Never Twist the Throttle. ECM controls Idle and Running Ability..
Once Engine is Running the idle will be high but will come down by its self.
Once Engine Idles properly Twist Throttle up to SAY 2,200 Rpms let Idle, test Throttle again.
Proper Idle for 08 Plus Bikes is 1,100 RPMs.
Unless something is wrong should be ok.
You will need to reset TPS every once in a while on your Buell. Hope this Helps. *JIMI
