Check Engine On/Off

Check engine light eluminates after revving past 5k and then letting off throttle. Truns off after 5-20 sec. Does not matter hot or cold. Does more often when riding, but will do it in neutral too. Hesitation at low RPM is way worse too. Just had factory map updated to current. Plugs replaced about 200 miles ago. Oil changed and rechecked. Fresh 91 octane. Jardine GP1 exhaust is the only mod. Dealership wants $85 just to run a diagnostic. O2 sensor? Bad map?

ECMSpy is the best way to pull up engine codes, but if you're in a hurry here's a simple way to check for engine trouble codes: Check Engine Trouble Codes (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/Decipher-Check-Engine-light-codes-wo-ECMSpy) Hopefully, it's just an engine temp. sensor going bad.

Edit: Crankcase Breather Hose Re-route (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/How-To-Crank-Case-Breather-Mod-with-pics) will help off idle hesitation also.
