Look what showed up today!

I'm curious, for those of you running these tires, what pressures are you running on pavement and on gravel/dirt roads?

On street oriented tires I was running 38 psi front and rear. I'm just wondering if these tires should be a run in the same ballpark or if you guys have experimented and found something that works a little better.

Alien???? Did you make a new screen name? [confused]

I would say stick to whatever it says on the tire. With these you're not going to get similar road performance to your old tires no matter wha tyou do.

Yes, I had to create another screen name because I was unable to login under my old name for some reason.

As far as going by what the tire says, I learned long ago that that is just a recommendation for max pressure, that will be different for every bike and road typ/condition.

look at your sidewalls. see the MAX psi #? 10-12% less than that for 1-up lightly loaded street and trail riding works fine.
