I have the power commander 3 on my 03 xb9r. It was installed when I bought the bike. I didn't even know what it was when I lifted the passenger seat. Guess I'm a squid, then. Any info on this thing, would help me out too! If I find out anything, I'll post it-

Im looking for a power commander for my 07 Firebolt and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. The bike is new to me and I want to do it up right.

To my understanding there aren't any Power Commanders that are out that will properly function with any late model Buell.

Called and asked myself

Early models were released but were problematic and were discontinued.

As far as GPR, I am uncertain of it's compatibility.

I finally got my GPR power jet commander installed. I installed it,with a Jardine slip on and did a breather reroute. It actually works pretty good for what it is. the flat spot off idle is gone and the bike revs a little more freely throttle response is spot on. aside from a little popping on over run and being a little noisy it works well. they can be had at euromotard.com

It actually works pretty good for what it is.
it doesn't work because it can't work.
lets have a look what's inside this fabulous tool:

whoaaa. that's impressive, eyh? two variable resistors, worth less than 20 cent. nice profit for the seller.

how's it intended to work? it changes the air temp sensor signal to pretend a lower air temp, so the mixture should get richer. this works, if closed loop and calibration is switched off. but they aren't switched off, so fuel is adjusted instantly as the exhaust gas oxygen level is too low. in calibration mode afv is adjusted too (because correcting "sensor drift" this is part of the afv's task) so this wonderfull gadget it nothing more than useless.

next time ask first. you'd better spent your money for a copy of ecmspy.
