Ride it harder and look through your corners, that should take your mind off of it. If it's driving you that crazy maybe someone on fleabay makes some kind of carbon fibre cover or sumn. Mine is trashed but if it doesn't hurt my machines performance I don't worry about it to much.

I have a ring that has a house key, gate key and disc lock key, to which I attach the key for whichever bike I am riding.

I never have more than just my bike key in the ignition, you dont want a bunch of extra weight on the switch too much weight will kill a switch. And of course scuff up the bike.

But I like the quick disconnect^
