Hey I just had my clutch cable snap at the lever on my 08 blast.

Went to the dealer, they say harley canada doesnt even have any, so 3-4wk wait. I dont want to wait that long to ride...
At the lever, its a solid cylinder, not a ring. Looking at some cables online, they often appear to have a ringed lever end. Does anyone know of a proven-to-work harley alternative?

surely if you get the length close and the sheath length close and the ends right, you could use whatever....

Did buell switch from a ringed end to a solid end in ~06?

Thanks man, my cable does NOT have a ring on one end, but as far as I can tell, all blasts must have had the same cable. a lot of websites dont even list my bike (an 08 blast)...
its one of two things: in 2006, the design switched to a ringed lever end OR
all blasts 2000-2009 use the same cable, but many manufacturers use a "default" pic with a ring AND the bikes stopped being distributed in the US in 2006...

All blasts use the same cable. I'm running a blast cable on my xbs. All the xb's use the same cable just different lengths. You could use a uly cable.
