I saw a 3" taller windscreen at http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/index.php?app=ccp0&ns=prodshow&ref=PROD398&sid=ly28a57f0d6s7i2tc71990q67a6399aq

I know it limits top speed, but I'm not so interested in buzzing in the stratosphere anyway.

Anybody know about this part? My concerns are for comfort over distance and noise. I find when I'm required to undertake a 120MPH sprint past a bunch of tractor trailers while wearing my halfshell and I have to fully tuck in, the noise past my ears is absolutely agonizing. Any feedback?

Are you talikng about the screen that replaces the stocker? They also have a bolt on clear screen extension thats even taller and would probably fit your need better. It has high speed velcro so it can be removed easily for around town cruising. I cant remember where I saw that. Wait, you have the S or R? The one i'm talking about is for the S.

Don't go 120 with a half?

It's an XB12R. And as far as the half shell goes, old habits die hard. I run 50/50 with my full face.

I know of this company, Crossroads Industrial Services, that can custom assemble and package any plastic part. Someone should model one of these out and make em! Check their site (http://www.crossroadsindustrialservices.com) at www.crossroadsindustrialservices.com:)

It's hard to see in the photo. Is this the double bubble or the sport touring model?

I am 6'2" and I find anything over 90 mph and my full face gets pulled up from the wind to the point where the chin strap gets uncomfortable.
