i swapped out the fuel filter when i had the rocker box off repairing an oil leak because i didnt know if or when it was ever replaced. the local harley shop ( who has a parts kid that is into buells and has been a tremendous help, i think i got lucky there because the other guy is like, buell? huh?) told me the the filter is a buell specific item and would have to order.
there was one of those glass ones on the wall, so i bought and installed it not thinking about the pressure and flow. the size between the two makes me wonder. it seems to be ok but do you think it could be restricting the flow? the filter was like $10 and i know you get what you pay for. i can certainly order the correct one if need be.
thanks in advance

i hope this wasnt a dumb question. it just makes sense to me that the larger the filter, the better the flow. is it all in my head that after i put this smaller filter on, the bike doesnt seem as snappy? maybe im just getting acclimated to it.
dont know.
