XB12R. Had this bike for about a month and almost all city riding. On Sunday I did the Rattle the Runway ride for 9/11 and it was the most highway miles I've done so far. It was about 40 miles out to Dulles and 40 back to the Pentagon. I don't know how I made it. My hands were killing me! I've done some research on solutions... H-D gloves with gel in the palms,Barsnake, lead pellets in the bar. Like to hear if anyone here has any ideas that work.

12 oz wrist exercises and bar end weights work for me

Loosen grip and hold your body up with your core and legs.

Check front engine isolator.

Bare with me. Newbie to Buell. Made a post not long ago about a squealing noise when accelerating hard. I also feel like something is loose every time I hit a bump. Could all these be related?

I have these on my XB9SX and they make a world of difference. I would highly recommend them as they make the bar vibrations smooth as butter on the freeway. Lower rpms you'll feel a shake but once you get moving, works like a charm.

I use bar end mirrors and they absorb a lot of the vibes.

I have an issue with the mailman delivering a package to my front door with "Vibranator" written on it.

They may be the best thing ever.... But I'll never know:black_eyed:

Seriously, the best advise is to grip the bike with your legs, and keep your arms and hands as loose as possible. I had numb hand issues with most sport bikes and buzzy I-4's but learning proper riding form stopped all but the worst ones (ZX-11). Grip the bars, lock your elbows and come to a quick, complete stop. Now grip the tank with your legs, loosen your arms and do it again. Amazing, right? Your whole center of gravity has been lowered drastically, that why the bike will corner much better and doesn't dive under braking anymore. Thank you Keith Code!

Luckily the company that makes them is fairly close to my house so I can show up in a creepy trenchcoat and pick them up with only minimal stares from the passing women and children.

What I didn't tell you is that I installed them in plain sight, right there in the parking lot of their establishment, with borrowed tools!!

So damn dirty. Like a menace to society
