TPS Reset Procedure

Is the TPS reset procedure the same in 06,07 and 08 XB12s?

'06 & early '07s are the same. Must use either ECMSpy or Dealer to reset TPS.

Later '07 & up have the upgraded "learning" ECM and can be done by the user with no software needed.

Funny thing is that my bike is marked as produced in Nov 06 but I was checking the vin # on the frame and the info about the vin in the manual and it is 07...well but either way I need ECMSpy or dealer to reset TPS..

Usually after the summer, September/October time frame Vehicle Manufacturers change the Model year to the coming year.
