Anyone willing to share maps for the XB9 with a D&D yet?

That should be easy to find, but you'll need to give some more info.

What are the rest of your mods? K&N and breather re-route are the most common.

What is your firmware version? What program (file type) are you going to be using for the swap?

Hi I'm new to this thread its my first post, excuse my english, I also would be interested in a map for 2008 XB 12ss BUE2D, D&D exhaust, K&N no breather re-route, ECM droid with buelltooth dongle, so if it is possible
for someone I would appreciate this thanks Gaetan

Yep, just the D&D, K&N, and breather re-route.
Firmware: BUEIB
EcmDroid. So I will need an .xpr file

Since you are both using ECMDroid for the swap, I suggest going to Buelltooth.com for the .xpr files. They offer free maps for anyone on their customer database.

Well.. I got their D&D map for a 9.. They said it was from a customer and they haven't tested it but MY bike runs kinda ****ty with it. Rough cruise, idles fine at first then wants to die after you ride a bit, has balls through the midrange at part throttle but is lacking at WOT and higher RPMs. I know the D&D is a midrange pipe but I switched from the RACE map which seemed to have more through the higher register. Also, I did a proper TPS reset and all that jazz

Ok then.

Whats your AFV? What are the limits set at?

Thanks Cooter, I went and bought the Baro sensor on buelltooth.com to get a tune cause I already had bought the dongle from ecmcables.com at the time they were out of stock at buelltooth.com

My AFV adjusted from 100% down to about 83 or 89%. Don't remember exactly, I looked at it yesterday. I'm pretty sure the limits are set at 60% and 150%.
On a side note, with the race map it would adjust from 100 to about 127%

That certainly looks like you have an issue with the bike. I would begin diagnosis by putting in the stock map you saved and re-setting the AFV to 100, TPS re-set then check for intake leaks.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but with a wildly adjusting AFV like that I believe you have issues that are not ECM related. Continuing to swap maps out will just waste time and keep you from riding it.

As a side note, I put my AFV limits at 85-115 until I get the tune close, then I set them at 90-110. That way the ECM can't over adjust too lean (hot) or too rich (foul plugs) while I'm testing a new tune and later a 20% swing in global fuel mapping should be plenty.

If anyone's using the xb9 d&d map from buelltooth what afv does your bike like most?

AFV isn't supposed to be something you adjust. That would be like regressing your fuel injection system into an old style carburetor.

Its something the ECM adjusts for itself depending on all sorts of factors, like altitude, temperature, fuel quality... so it is calculated several times a second for current conditions and will be different for each bike

This map required the bike to be run in open loop. On my 03xb9 I have a D&D exhaust, open airbox, and a few very minor mods. I acquired a map from buelltooth from a bike with the similar if not same modifications. Living at sea level having tested numerous afv's from 100-108 I find 103 to be the best right now. Just curious if anyone else using the same map had any different results.
