There is no clutch spring plate in Buell clutch.

It was not replaced, it was completely eliminated. You can eliminate spring plate on Harley too and put two steel plates and one friction plate instead of the spring plate to keep the clutch pack thickness the same.

cknapp: Don't try to worry about extra stuff that happens to other bikes that hasn't even happened to yours. Theres way better things to think about, like where your next beer comes from:) Buell's are decievingly simple and solid. Why fix a door thats already working?

If you have Harley you definitely want to eliminate that plate even if it works because of it fails unpredictable and it will do this, it is just matter of time. Buell does not have this plate, but it has a bunch of another stuff can fail.
