Does the check engine light turn on when you foul a plug(s)?

No, but you will know if you have one fouled. Do you have the check engine light on?

No, that's the thing, I've been reading everyone's posts about how they foul very easily from letting your bike run for a couple of mins. or short periods of time. To tell you the truth I do that often but have never had the light turn on or had any problems. Guess i'm just a bit lucky.

When you're bike sounds like a VW bus, you've fouled a plug. They don't really foul that much. Normally just happens to new riders because no one has told them yet.

Wait a second Dave, are you trying to say that you a VW Bus sounds bad?! I'm taking personal offense to that.

SHAGGIN WAGON!
As for the plugs, if you start it for short periods in cold weather it will definitely cake those plugs quick!!

I'm saying that because it really does sound like a VW bus!! The difference is the VW bus is faster than a Buell with a fouled plug.

No cold weather down where I live in Texas, it's 101 degrees fahrenheit :o
I'm going to stop the short interval engine running, I might run out of luck one of these days.

Impossible, Foiled or not, a Buell will NEVER be slower than a Bus.

Do plugs fowl less in hot Hawaii as compared to a cooler climate?
