As some of you may know my bike was totaled out after I hit a deer, well Sedars on the forum was selling his bike and knowing a little about it I was all over it.'

The first pics are from this morning around 11:30am. I got home last night after my 1100 mile drive to pick up the bike. Got up took the first pics then began to modify, well add all my aftermarket items, which are the ending pictures.

I changed the wheels, heel guards, CRG levers, added '04 Pulley, Rizoma front pulley cover, Trojan-Horse Low profile scoops, ASB cat eye LED signals, LED rear Brake/Turn light, GPR Stabilizer, and ditched the mirrors, sure I missed a couple things but here are the pics.

Damn that was fast!! [up] You must have had a pile of stuff ready to go on. Very clean! Interesting scoops. You'll have to write a review on quality and funtion

Dave; The scoop fitment is a little under par but I am sure they will do better than the nothing that was on my last bike.

Midnight; Minus the hottie. You can see how the front fairing is lower and the wrap is on.

Looking good Xlow. What kind of parts you got off of the bike after swaping your stuff over? Are you going to leave the paint, or are you going to match your truck again? Keep up the progress and keep us updated.[up]

I have 2 extra sets of plastic I am using one to match my truck and the one that is painted to match my truck I am selling and or trading parts. I already sold the chin fairing, and have a R/S tail swap with a local guy PT Performance from the forum.

What do you use to cut the windscreen without too much damage?

I would assume you cover it with masking tape, then cut it on a band saw and sand it smooth

Lay down the line you want with vinyl pinstrip, cover it with masking tape to help the plastic from fraying and cut with a Dremmel tool. Finish with a light sanding and done.

I think I might have to cut my windscreen down. That looks really good.

I hope I have steady hands...

Hey extremelow, where did you get your scoops? And why do you say the fitment is not to par? Do they cool the heads well?

xtremelow

The scoops work and do their job as far as cooling down the engine but there is a slight gap (1/8") between the scoop and frame.

They do look good but I am the type of person to pick things apart. Really the only way to make them better would be to make them to big and then trim them down to fit since each bike will have a little different fitment.
