I have an XB9r but none the less I dont want firing items or carbon fiber add ons. I am looking for something along the lines of billet accessories. Anything from frame sliders, handle grip ends, handle grips, I can find stock replacements but I would like to add some billet onto the bike.

I have come up with a way to make my own sliders with Billet wiper post covers but I would still like to know where or who makes custom stuff for buells.

Thanks for the Help

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but have you checked our Buell parts shop (http://www.buellxb.com/shop)?

I just added more high-quality carbon fiber goods and I'm working on deals with K&N and other manufacturers to begin stocking all the best parts for the Buell XB series motorcycles.

I would love feedback on the store and I'm always open for suggestions.

i checked out Trojan horse a while back and they are damn near double the price since it is all from over seas.

I guess I will just make some of my own stuff.

I will post pics of finished products. Like frame sliders I am in the process of making my own and I feel they will look a lot better than any I will find to buy. After that it will be some other small stuff here and there.

Yeah its pricey, all in British Pounds. Basically take the price and double it. I would like to know how you plan on making billet parts? Not being a smart ass but am curious. If you get some made you most definitely will want to post pics. You will probably be able to sell some if you make extras [up]

It isnt so much I am making everything from scratch but from other parts. Such as.....

Axle sliders- I have a buddy who is machining some rods that will fit inside the axle housing snuggly and they have threads on each end. Then all I have to do is screw on a set of billet wiper post covers and it is done.

An easy and cheaper way for anyone who doesnt have access to a machine shop would be to. Buy a piece of threaded rod($1) to match a wiper post cover($15pr) and cut it to the length you need then thread a nut($0.25) on till it sits just inside the axle housing (you will need to see what size nut will work) then tack a weld to the nut and rod so it doesnt move.(this will keep the rod in the center of the housing and wont allow the wiper cover to sag so to speak). Then screw the cap on and done.

I will post some picks of the finished product.

As far as some other stuff I did the gauge cluster mod shown in the do it yourself section of the web page. I am also going with some billet handles but I am getting them for a harley and if my demensions were correct they will fit but we will see in a couple days. They were only $25 from D2Moto. I was also thinking of some billet mirros but i have to look into it a bit more. But I would use custom car mirrors and use a bracket to adapt them to the bike. I have to see if I can do it and keep it clean or else i wont do it. I will come up with more stuff as I go along but that is all I can think of rigth now.

I have some billet mirrors that were on my wifes Blast. She went back to stock because they offered a better view and she's more into practical than style. If you are interested in them I will take some pics and send them.

His and Her Buells, if you would send the pic to my email I would appreciate it. xtremelow2@yahoo.com

I am looing for a custom but clean look for what ever it is I do. I am going to get some different front turn signals next. Maybe flush mount not sure I have to see what is offered. I was even thinking of some light up bolts? Not sure if they will emit enough light to show the siganl and saftey is still important.
