can you send photos from iphone?

Have a couple good photos and would like to share them but im lost on how to send them from a iphone.

The only way to send them is thru email.

Tap the pic to allow the options to appear. Tap the box with an arrow coming out of it. The options will then appear to Eamil, Assign to contact or use as wallpaper.

Select email then enter contact information.
