bike wont start

i have an 04 firebolt 12. when i turn the key on the gauges move but the fuel pump doesn't kick on, it acts like the kill switch is on. i checked the fuses and they are ok. wtf is going on?

Bad Ignition Relay? Try swapping them out.

Might be a stupid question but is in gear and kickstand down.... I did that once when i first got my bike and finally figured it out

already swapped relays, yes it is in neutral.

Try checking the mating connector for the fuel pump to make sure it's even getting voltage from the battery. If it shows you have voltage going into the fuel pump, maybe a bad fuel pump.

Maybe check connections on your toggle switch, est thing to do is start there and work your way back, sometimes it is the simple things and people start replacing stuff and spend three times as much money.

ok if the fuel pump was out would it not let the engine turn over? i used my test light on the switch and couldnt get anything.

So maybe the switch is bad after being used too much, how many miles on the bike.

my original thought was the switch but i unplugged it and couldn't get anything from the plug either.
