Ive been riding an 07 zx6r. But I use my bike for everything (its my only means of transportation). I have been riding for about a year. But I have started to notice that the four bangers are very lacking in torque. I need something that is great stop light to stop light and highway. So my question is would the 1125r be a good fit for my needs?

Buell = Torque Monsters :D[up] (ZX-6R = 49 ft./lb. torque - 1125R = 82 ft./lb. torque)

Your search is over. A Test Ride would only confirm it.

I'd never go back to an inline 4 and my 1125R puts a smile on my face every time I throw a leg over it. Try one out(and the XB12R) and see if it works for you. If it doesn't seem like the bike for you then look at finding a clean Suzuki TL1000R or a newer SV1000. Can't beat the sound/torque of a v-twin!!!!

Nope, just be aware of the torque. It seems like it can run right out from under you till you get used to it.

Just make sure you build up your confidence and handling skills on it and you should do just fine.

A must read, if you are thinking of getting a Buell.

Buell Book (http://www.buell.com/en_us/book-of-buell/)

Just bought my 1125R coming from and XB9R, very noticable power difference, but nothing that will kill you as long as you are safe. If you roll the throttle back at about 4,500 RPM in 1st gear the front wheel will come up, so just dont have a heavy wrist I guess.

Hmmm ... lets see ... I own a X1, RSV-R, and a Warrior ... I don't like V-Twins or anything ... :p
