Not sure it may just be for a different control setup off the sportster or something...?.

Not sure exactly what you are talking about, but by the sound of it.

That may be the "peek in" window into the primary where there are two bolts and a small cover that allows one to veer into the primary without removing the whole piece.

No, the stock primary comes with two bolt holes just to the left of the clutch inspection cover. The top hole is filled with one of the those black plastic snap plugs.

Pretty sure it is there from another control setup. Easy way to get ride of it is to just fill it will black silicone or clear then touch it up wit black paint.

When I had my primary powder coated I put in a low profile flat head screw/bolt and had them coat over it since there is no use for the hole.

burnt out bulb? Are you running stock signals or LEDs?

im not sure. they are not stock. they might be leds. i got the bike as a repo. i didnt even know it had the race only ecm in it till i tore it apart.

ok its like this. left front and left rear work. right front and right rear arent. when all are hooked up left work right dont. right makes noise. if i unhook left front none work and all make noise. all worked before and after i wreked my bike. had to take fairing off to fix some issues. thought it was a bad splice job from orignal owner. i think i cut out the resitors on the right side by mistake. need to dig though trash to find out. unless any body else has any ideas.

Sound like you have a pinched wire, just trace the wires to make sure you dont have a bad wire or pinched one.
