I've had my 2003 XB9S for 4 months now and have been sinking money into more and more. I know it's old and everything has an expiration date but come on.

Back to the issue at hand. Short version:
Trouble code:36
checked fan:OK
Replaced temp. sensor.

still same trouble code. I've read in here that someone had a similar issue where the ECM was at fault.

How much is this going to cost me now? What are the benefits of the race ecm?
I'm a Apple user so the ecmspy stuff isn't applicable. How am i going to reset the tps?

Not sure.

Maybe before throwing more money away since you aren't exactly sure what to do, run your bike down to your local dealer. Therefore allowing someone to professionally diagnose the issue.

Dealer MAY do it for free when you take in your bike to have it professionally diagnosed

you can buy a decent laptop to use ecm spy for the price of an i pod.:D

Well I was thinking about $40/shipped, although it is an '03 it is damn near brand new since the guy removed it when he first bought the bike. Looking at it, you would think it is brand new, since it is flawless.
