Hi,

Looking at all discussions about heat dispersions of the headers. I would like to know if anyone has ever tried making a heat shield for the rear header.
Similar to the shield on the XB12X.

Would these fit on other models? How are they fixed?

I am looking forward to the new 2010 XB12Scg. And even in making one up myself.

But why invent the wheel again?

Greetings from Spain.

Here ya go. Thread includes a Special Ops heat barrier you can purchase or a DIY: Heat Barriers Thread (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Firebolt-XB12-XB9/Buell-aftermarket-parts/Heat-shields-things...)
