Doesn't look ride-able to me. If that swingarm has full movement that "bobber" seat and it's occupant may be in for more than a ride then they bargained for. I do like how they used ALOT of buell parts tho.

The rear break is before the belt! whoa!

The brake is sort of like the "Buellcati" by Grand Stand Designs.

I'm a skinny guy and I'm not sure I could lean that far forward to grab the handle bars with my legs suitcased like it seems they would be.

It is just a different way for a brake to be mounted to clean up the rear.

Taking a corner on this bike would be scary as hell! It would be an awesome bike if they could reduce the wheelbase by a foot.

I would bet it would handle pretty good considering the Buell is so short, I would say this bike is near the same lenght as a stock sportbike, maybe a little longer but not by much.

Judging by the distance from the timing cover to the front axle & the angle of the forks, I'd say she's got a much longer wheelbase than stock.

uhhh...maybe it's just me but as sweet as that rear brake setup looks, I like my fail points number low...I'll take a hidden Brembo caliper over that anyday. If your belt or chain fails the first thing you do is pull off the road...not so easy with just a front brake...

I know the bike is a **** ton longer than a stock buell. What o was trying to compair the length to was a Jap bikes length, since they are longer than our bikes stock.

Dang I didn't even think of that, good point. That would suck to have panic and have no rear brake.

I noticed in this picture that this bike still has a belt tensioner with a chain drive

I posted that pic originally. That bike went for like $8k on ebay, its was really custom. REALLY nice paint job.

Yeah Dave I'm guessing they used it to keep the chain slap down. Even the Jap bikes have chain guards but they are normally made of hard plastic not medal.

Sooo from a girls point of view... Way hot!! I would so love to have a custom bike something like that but a little different of course. :)

Grease it up and I would think the stock tensioner would work the same as a hard plastic guide.

Also that bike has air susp. So it needs to maintain a tensioner of some sort.

Thats a good full foot to foot and a half longer than a stock XB. Jap bikes are only a few inches at most longer than Buells.

XB12R wheelbase - 52in
Yamaha R6 - 54.3in

That Cruell is deffinately extended more than 2.3in over a stock Buell :)

It does look freakin sweet, though very uncomfortable.

looks hot,
i like the fact it's called CRUELL
even if it looks real uncomfortable... just i=like a buell, it is unique.

I think a key thing to remember when looking at custom bikes is that they're typically built to look tough, be tough and be eye catchers. From what I've seen, and what my personal involvement in building bikes is comfort is a low priority.
