Is there such a thing as aftermarket highway pegs for the Uly to change leg position for long road trips? If so, where can I find them? Thanks!

Just to clear this up a little.
The forward controls I'm talking about ARE bolted to the primary chain case cover bolts for the shifter...
and the cam case for the brake.
HOWEVER as I'm sure you know the cases on a "sporty" and a Buell are some what different

Just a heads up on the Palmer Highway Brackets.

They WILL NOT work with the American Sportbike style Catch Can that mounts to the Oil Cooler.

Found out the hard way.

I don't know - I'm sure it can be comfy - but to my eyes it's kind of a dorky looking riding postion, and I know I'm being mean here. I totally know where you are coming from with looking for more comfort options on those longer trips.

So after all this time no garage engineer has come up with a somewhat easy DIY highway peg for the Uly? I'm tempted but I'm a wood worker and don't have the tools to mock up something out of metal.

This is my first post and my first Buell. I just bought it and it has these bars. The installer rigged them with zip ties.
Does anyone have pics of them with the comfort kit installed?http://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/ii546/nwilkendorf/Mobile%20Uploads/5136n41511b_zpsmqiwpw6z.jpg

What do you think about this? Create left and right brackets which will be mounted above the covers in the same cover screw holes (the same way as LSL or 5o-dro engine protectors) for 2008-2010 BuellXB. The brackets have the same footpeg fixtures as the passenger (or rider) footpegs. So you can relocate the passenger footpegs on the highway footpegs brackets or just buy an extra set of passenger footpegs. The highway foot pegs will be retractable (as the passenger food pegs) so you can just fold or unfold them depends of situation.

Seems like pegs mounted directly to the engine would have some crazy vibrations.

Turboraven has highway footpegs on his motorcycle mounted directly to the engine and he is OK with it.
