Just some picts of my muffler on my 09 xb9sx. These picts were taken when I trial fit it to make sure it was going to work.

Would like to officially Welcome you the Forum. Noticed you joined back in May, but now have made your first post.

What exactly did you do to the muffler? Did you keep the airflow the stock setup or did you gut that as well?

Just wondering if tire heat will increase? If so will handling be affected? Looks good though.

i would point the exhaust tip away from the tire.
exhaust fumes also contain remains of oil & fuel which do not belong near the tire.

pointing it right on the tire is a bad idea [smirk]

As far as the heat on the tire, it rises alittle if
I'm cruzing around town. Never thought of the
oil kicking out of the muffler onto the tire. I'm
selling this one, so I'll redesign it again. Was thinking
of the same angle down but splitting it into a
point with two sides. That way I'd have it pointed
away from the tire. Really haven't done anything
else to it, other then the dual lights. After the I
fix the muffler I'm going to reshape the tail and do the
ecmspy mod if possible.

Can't I just spray some degreaser on the
rear tire. It'll keep any oil that the muffler
spits out off the tire. Jk. Lol

yea, but deagreaser is bad for the natural greases that the tire contains to keep it flexible.

you can also weld a V in the tip that will direct everything away from the tire. that way you can keep the 1 tip look ;)

Thanks for the tips. Ya Im going
to weld a splitter in it. I'll see if it'll
push the exhuast air more out to the
sides. I want it working good befor I
sell it.
