I do, but I like race bikes better...
SharkSkinz entire race body work- $500
2 little gill flappers from HD for your 1125R- $500

I think the 1125R bugs are going to have to smooth out before I take the plunge. My XB12R is a GREAT street bike that is hard to beat.

No bugs. They've got it sorted.

I had an '08 1125R, reflashed with a jardine, for a week. The '08s are a steal - if only I wanted a track bike...

My first reaction to the intro photos was "bleeech", but the R looks good to me in person.

The CR on the other hand...

Is every 1125R owner happy? Did Buell really take care of you early buyers? Maybe I read all the bad stuff when owners where sitting in front of their PC , not riding their broke/new bike. Maybe Buell took care of them and they've not got off the bike yet to say all is well... New thread? ....

We already have a thread for 1125R complaints. But not to worry, you have your trusty XB12R. So be happy. :)

The local HD dealer did the work and I'm told it took 3 tries over the last year. It wasn't totally sorted until April for this bike. Local dealer support/knowledge will matter.

But, it is perfect now. I was looking for holes and didn't find any. I'm pretty picky. It's a remarkable bike.

I can understand that it takes longer and sometimes doesn't get done right. I have worked at a couple dealer ships and you sometimes get lucky and have the tech. that knows the bike or model inside and out. He or she gets it done in record time and tells you if the problem is current and if he finds out something new they tell you. I try and do that for my customers that bought a bike from me and the ones that just stop in to see what our dealership is like. People that get on line and belong to this forum and others that are Buell based, that talk about what they like don't like contribute a lot to the product. Is Eric watching? I hope so. I see from the 2010 line up there have been changes that address issues on all models.
So take a deep breath and keep typing. JT

I have had mine since September and have no complaints about the bikeitself. The aftermarket is where my only real issues lie. Why are so few companies making anything for Buells in general? I know its not a Duc or a Gixxer, but we could use some aftermarket parts. What do we have...3 slip ons that sound like absolute sh!T, a Drummer that costs a grand, and 2 fairing kits...WOW! That doesnt seem adequate to me-

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I took a good look at the inside fairing today and saw that the header pipe makes contact with the fairing. Buell put a heat shield on it. But we will have another bike ready for a test ride some time this week and I'll see then if it works.

Took the bike out for a ride of about 15 miles. Sat in traffic for 5 of those minutes with a core temp between 190 to 205. The plastic was barely warm. The heat shielding works great.

The heat shield is a great idea, I had to do this also, but you are money ahead to header wrap both primaries like I did, saves alot of paint and aggrivation later on.

Weather permitting If someone in the are wants to come by our dealer and checkout what this setup looks like or wants to test ride our demo bike to see how it works. They can do so. JT

I have two bikes that I'm going to put head to head next week for test rides. A 2009 XR1200 and a Buell XB12SS. I know on paper they seem like the odd couple.
The XR, In my opinion, feels like and X1. Just a little thinner at the seat and tank.
I'm going to leave both bikes in their stock settings. Just adjust tire pressure and fill the tanks.
Harley is now offering the Fully adjustable suspension for the XR1200 for 2010. I would love to get my hands on one for a day.
Any ways I hope some people come out and take a test ride. I love getting first reactions. JT

Catalyst Racing Composites www.catalystracingcomposites.com
under products, they are the supersport street uppers and lowers. Just had to pick paint and spray after a test fit and drilling holes. There are dimples in all of the right spots. Add some zeus fasteners and you are stylin'

I have had my fairing lowers on my 1125 for about a month, the header finally burned through the heat shield. I strongly suggest header wrapping your headers if you do this.

I think it definitely looks good! I like the naked look of the firebolt but I still can't understand the 1125r fairing. I'd be pretty into a whole kit that replaced the whole upper fairing and side pieces so the front end wasn't so wide and high.
