What is this dohikey dangling next to my oil filter??? Have pic.

Just change my oil for the first time and notice this hose looking thing just dangling there. Hope its not suppose to be plugged in some where. [confused] [confused]

you have an XB12? That looks like the guide tube for the interactive exhaust on my 12-r.

Yeah is an xb12r. So is it suppose to be dangling there?Has jardine exhaust.

I think if you have an aftermarked exhaust it becomes un-needed...

whoever installed the exhaust probably installed the "Emulator" but didn't feel like pulling the guide tube out or figured you might need it if later you put the factory exhaust back on to sell it or something like that..


pulling it is pretty involved as it's tie wrapped in a number of places and buried under a pill of wires in a few areas where it's routed... I would just tie wrap it off somewhere to keep it from just hanging like that and not worry about it.
